Shipping Policy — Memory Quilts & Longarm Services
At Katybird Quilts, I understand that the clothing and fabric you send often carry deep personal meaning. Every package is handled with care and respect throughout the quilting process.
Sending Your Items
Customers are responsible for shipping their clothing, fabric, or quilt materials to Katybird Quilts.
Once your project is confirmed, I will provide detailed instructions for packaging and mailing your items safely.
I recommend:
- Using a shipping service with tracking
- Packaging items securely in a sealed bag or box
- Keeping a record of your tracking information until your package arrives
Katybird Quilts is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during transit to my studio.
Turnaround Time
Memory quilt turnaround time is typically 4–6 weeks from the date your items are received in my studio.
Longarm Services turnaround time varies based on the type of service you request. Edge to Edge quilting design is usually 1-2 weeks. Custom designs, squaring, binding, and any other add on services require additional time.
Because each quilt is custom-made and created with care, turnaround times may occasionally vary depending on workload, holidays, or project complexity. If there are any significant delays, I will always keep you updated.
Return Shipping
Completed memory quilts are shipped back to you at no additional shipping charge. Longarm quilting services are shipped free of charge if your total order was above $100.
Your finished quilt will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking information provided once it is on its way home to you.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Once a finished quilt has been shipped and accepted by the shipping carrier, Katybird Quilts is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or damage caused during transit.
If an issue occurs during shipping, please contact the shipping carrier directly first. I am always happy to assist however I can.

Shipping Policy — Fabric & Physical Quilt Patterns
Thank you for shopping with Katybird Quilts. I carefully package every order and do my best to get your items shipped quickly and safely.
Processing Time
Fabric and physical quilt pattern orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days after your order is placed.
Please note that processing times may occasionally vary during holidays, sales, or high-volume order periods.
Shipping
Orders are shipped using the shipping method selected at checkout.
Katybird Quilts is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier, weather, or incorrect shipping information entered at checkout.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier first to file a claim if applicable.
If you need additional help, you are always welcome to contact me and I will do my best to assist you.
Incorrect Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. Katybird Quilts is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the package.
Digital Pattern Delivery Policy
Digital quilt patterns are delivered electronically and no physical product will be shipped.
After purchase, you will receive an email containing your download link. Downloads are typically available immediately after checkout, though occasional delays may occur depending on payment processing or email delivery.
Please be sure to enter the correct email address at checkout to ensure successful delivery.
Due to the digital nature of PDF patterns, all digital pattern sales are final and non-refundable.
